Chalk & Sons are able to value items of stock, furniture, jewellery and object d’art at your own home or business premises.

How do I get my items valued?

There are a number of ways to get valuations of your items.

The best and most accurate way is to allow us to come and view the goods – we have the ability to visit you most days. Contact us on 01227 763901 or complete the Contact Form to arrange a time and date.

With large items or items of value we are always happy to receive photographs by e-mail which you can upload on our Contact Form. We can then give a guide which is subject to the pictorial evidence and subject to seeing the actual item and understanding its true condition.

With smaller items or smaller quantities of goods we can value and pay on viewing.

Where you have a large quantity of items or a full property clearance, please make a call to arrange a site visit by Chalk & Son Ltd at the earliest possible convenience.

Wherever possible we are happy to buy your items from you. If  your items would do better going to auction, our fees for selling items at auction are 15% of total sales or £100, whichever value is greater. In this instance, our costs cover collection, movement and administration.
